I will sing with the spirit, and with the understanding also. ~ I Corinthians 14:15
Music is an integral part of our worship life at St. Paul's. Parishioners of all ages actively participate in our ministry of music as members of our choirs, as instrumentalists, and in our vibrant congregational singing. Our choirs, including boys and girls from The St. Paul’s Choir School, may be heard on feast days and weekly at the Sunday 10am Holy Eucharist, accompanied by our 1929 Skinner organ. Major works are often offered within the context of this Sunday 10am Holy Eucharist, including choral masses and requiems.

5pm Saturday Choral Evensong Series Drawing on elements of the monastic offices of Vespers and Compline, the beautiful and uniquely Anglican service of Choral Evensong (sung Evening prayer) is centered on prayer, psalms, and Scripture readings. In addition to Choral Evensong, this series includes occasional seasonal services and concerts.

The Chancel Choir (Teenagers & Adults) The Chancel Choir, a mixed volunteer choir with section leaders, sings a diverse repertoire ranging from chant, Renaissance and Baroque motets to Anglican anthems and newly composed sacred works. The St. Cecilia Choir (may include Grades K - 2) Weekly half-hour rehearsals help children find their natural singing voice and lay the groundwork for a life-long appreciation of music. The St. Cecilia Choir joins in singing with the full choir (St. Nicolas, Choristers, and Chancel Choir) at the 10am Sunday Holy Eucharist several times throughout the choir season, and also sings at the Christmas Pageant and on Easter Day.
Rehearsals on Tuesdays, 3:30 – 4pm
The St. Nicolas Choir (may include Grades 1 - 8) Weekly forty-minute rehearsals prepare singers for entry into the Choristers including further development of vocal skills, ear training and introduction to reading of musical notation. Boys and girls in grades 1 and 2 may join as invited; new singers in grades 3 – 8 begin in The St. Nicolas Choir. The St. Nicolas Choir joins in singing with the full choir (St. Cecilia, Choristers, and Chancel Choir) at the 10am Sunday Holy Eucharist several times throughout the choir season, with the Choristers for the family Ash Wednesday and Good Friday services, and also sings at the Christmas Pageant and on Easter Day.
