Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts at St. Paul's
St.Paul's Episcopal Church is the proud sponsor of
Boy Scout Troop 28 and Cub Scout Pack 28.
Troop 28, for boys aged 11 – 18, currently has 38 Scouts, and is one of the oldest and strongest troops in the Pacific Skyline Council, celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2012. Pack 28, for boys in the 1st through 5th grades, has 57 Scouts, and continues to grow from its inception by Brad Wilson in 2006.
Scouting strives to teach boys and young men the value of participative citizenship and strong leadership through outdoors skills andother unique experiences unattainable in sports and academia.
Boy Scout Troop activities include hiking, camping, and our annual trip to Summer Camp. Cub Scout Pack activities include family camping, Pine Wood Derby model race cars, Father-Son cake design, community service, and nearby “Go-See-It” field trips.
Cub Scout Packs are adult-run programs using the experience and dedication of parents to “Help the Scout grow and the Pack go!” Boy Scout Troops are “Scout-led" and supported by the Scoutmaster and his assistants, and a parents’ troop committee working behind the scenes.
Boy Scout Troop 28 meets at St. Paul’s on the 1st and 3rd Monday nights of each month at 7 pm.
